Team Nevada competed at the 2018 Marines Western Regionals this weekend, which made it's debuet at The US Open in Las Vegas, NV. This event was amazing, and went off very well considering it was the first time in our very own state. A big Nevada THANK YOU to our very own State Event Director, Rob Cate, for very many, many, many hours and manpower that he put in to this event. You rocked it Rob, and we are proud and grateful for all that you and your family sacrifice for our state. We look forward to making an even bigger and better presence with our awesome competetors next year. We can't wait!! For results on the Western Regionals, go to TrackWrestling and search "2018 Marines Western Regional." From there, you can search through the Freestyle and Greco tournaments, and the Folkstyle Festival. Congrats to all of our Nevada Battle Born Warriors and alumni who competed in the UWW Junior event!! We are NEVADA PROUD!!
Nevada Olympic State Championships
So, here is part of the information that we have all been waiting for..... OLYMPIC STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS. This event is to take place in our very beautiful capital city of Carson City. We want to thank our vice-chairman, Kelly Thomas, for coordinating the venue for this event at the MAC center. He worked very hard within the community to make this happen, and it won't go unnoticed. So, thank you Kelly! Your hard work is appreciated. Please keep in mind that our Schoolboy National Duals Team will be selected at our Olympic State Tournament. Confirmation of your wrestler's place and money for this tournament will be due at the time that your wrestler picks up their award. Please see below for more information.

Our awesome Team Lead, Bill Sullivan, and State Director, James Downing, have been working hard to put together a Schoolboy Duals Trip to Indianpolis, IN. I personally spoke with the Indiana State Director about this trip and we are super excited to be able to bring a team there this year from Nevada!! We will need nothing but the best, which is why the highest combined place winner at Olympic State in Carson City, will determine the best to take this lucrative spot on the the National Team.
You're not gonna want to miss this! Click HERE for the informational flyer for this awesome trip!
CALLING ALL GIRLS
Anyone even THINKING about going to Women's Nationals in Irving, TX needs to let Team Lead, Bill Sullivan or Women's State Director, Greg Larramendy, know ASAP.
